Project Context

GR8 Insight needed to modernize and align its browser-integrated CRM extension with the brand’s new digital identity. The tool plays a key role in helping SDRs capture, organize, and visualize information about managers, CEOs, and directors directly from any website, supporting commercial proposals and future outreach. The extension had to be practical, functional, and adaptable to different platforms, while staying consistent with the new site.

Challenge

The main challenge was to redesign the entire user experience, ensuring a responsive and functional interface, even in limited screen spaces. The focus was on creating a clean visual hierarchy, an intuitive onboarding, clear microcopy, and smooth, simple navigation. Everything was designed to deliver fast performance and brand consistency without compromising the end-user experience.

Development Process

Planning:

  • Analyzed previous flows and friction points in the old layout.

  • Mapped user journeys for onboarding, snippets flow, and dashboard.

  • Created reusable components and step-by-step navigation (onboarding → signup → dashboard).

  • Refined color palette, icons, and mascot to build an approachable tone.

  • Interactive prototype tested across different screen sizes.

  • Microcopy reviewed to clearly guide the user.

Solution

The solution was to design a new responsive UI for the Chrome extension, ensuring smooth performance and a seamless experience. Using modular components makes it easy to maintain and scale with future features. The flows were structured to be clear and intuitive — from onboarding to questions, insights, and snippets. Finally, a mascot and custom illustrations add a friendly, human touch, even within a B2B context.
